Review: Akata Witch, by Nnedi Okorafor

I read this book for Q3 SSR, when we read in the genres of Science Fiction and Fantasy. Akata Witch is about a Nigerian-American girl who sees something strange in a fire, burns off all her hair, has to make some new friends... and learns some very surprising things about herself and the world(s) she inhabits.

Once I got into it, Akata Witch was a beautiful, fun read that I enjoyed and devoured!
